i have. i’m concerned with touchscreen voting. georgia will be using it widely. if you’ve experienced it, you know it’s efficient. but without a reciept, there’s no proof of your vote.

diebold, the company that makes the machine, is led by a GOP-loving fool who said to republicans in a fundraising (and eyebrow raising) letter they are “committed to helping Ohio deliver its electoral votes to the president next year.”

many reports of how vulnerable these machines are to hacking are on the internet. look them up. in areas that have voted democrat for generations, republicans swept local elections. these were some of the first to have the touchscreens. some of you may know democrat max cleland was beaten in an election here in georgia he was widely expected to win. i’m just sayin’.

so what’s an alternative? absentee voting. not foolproof, but at least it’s tangible. all you do is check the box that says you’re out of your precenct that day and they should mail you a ballot.

Oh that’s right, “Scary Movie”, “Scary Movie 2″, “Don’t Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood”, and “I’m Gonna Get You Sucka” were all based on entirely original ideas having nothing to do with movies that had at the time just recently come out.

That’s what i love about the dynamic of the brothers wayans – their “freshness”. It’s their ability to explore fresh ideas without resorting to tired, copied, and otherwise uninspired premises. The way they tap into what’s currently popular, new, or making money and rather than copying it or revisiting old formulas they decide to create something no one would expect.

Well i for one look forward to their unique perspective on a film adaptation.

in a feeble attempt to pit the two against each other again, the studio behind the LIKE FATHER LIKE SON of the VS trend have turned the genre on its ear! forget this bullshit with just 2 tired characters fighting when we can have 3!!
