edmonton improvaganza

i’ve been in edmonton less than 24 hours and already i’m filled with fun and excitement
why is this such a great place? such a great community of inspiring people?
maybe because it is negative a billion 9 months out of the year so when spring/summer hit everyone is in the bestest moods
or maybe because my day to day grind and current creative outlet don’t inspire nearly as much and this opportunity to be elsewhere and be surrounded by such great talent is more rewarding.

batman begins kicks an ass or thirty. especially at midnight on an IMAX screen. in edmonton. what a great welcoming.
spent today being poked and prodded by local media about the improvised cartoon. i watched as a television show interviewed characters from the cartoon about what it’s like being at a festival as cartoon characters. meta. i’m honored to be interviewed by radio shows. my mind is swimming in the clouds.

still haven’t eaten today – so that is a must. these coffees whose purpose it is to curb the appetite just a bit longer so i can get more work done before opening are beginning to tear away my insides. speaking of insides…if you ever find yourself cleaning a bathroom at a dorm where i am staying, please inform me of all the chemicals you’ve doused the toilet with BEFORE i go in to do my bizness not after. that would be the most.

i’ve done so much in the last week and tonight we see if it all comes together or goes splat! all over the sidewalk

now i really must go get food. mind cranked. body weak.
