I have had my television back in action for less than 24 hours and Bravo is my 2nd home again. I have already watched 2 episodes of Law and Order Criminal intent (both fat Dinofrio episodes), the last scene of Real Housewives of Atlanta (twice), and am on my 2nd Top Chef episode.

Old Habits Die Hard with a Vengeance.

I decided that if anyone ever throws me a surprise party that instead of all the people yelling “SURPRISE!” when i walk in the room, I think it’d be way more fun and hilarious for them to all point at me and yell “NAZI SYMPATHIZER!!”

right?

I needed a microwave. It seemed a simple task, but then most things do until I attempt to do them. I need a few other things too. A toaster, a toaster oven, organization skills. So i decided to make a list. The list wasn’t all that big either. The above 3 appliances, S.O.S. pads, I think cheese was on it. So i figured the best way to tackle this would be to go to Target and grab some appliances. I forgot how crippled with indecision I can become when faced with choices. So, I decided to go back home and do some Consumer Reports style research. 1 hour later I was armed with all the useless information I needed to get this microwave. I had already given up on the toasting appliances. 2 hours and 1 anxiety attack later i returned home with a toilet seat from Lowe’s. Not on the list. And actually not really needed. But I made a decision and I guess that’s all that matters. Oh – I got the wrong size and had to go back and exchange it.

I finally did get a microwave. I opted to spend less money rather than get quality. I bought a 55 dollar microwave at Target. After getting it home and taking it on it’s maiden voyage I looked online and saw that it’s one of the lowest rated microwaves on the market and apparently stops working after 2 months.
You win some, you save 20 dollars and wind up with a shit appliance.

A while back I decided that since I hadn’t watched television in over 2 months, I would cancel my DierctTV subscription. Now more than ever I wish I hadn’t. I hate not being able to watch the coverage LIVE. And I am too lazy and unmotivated to go to some bar to do it. I WANT MY CNN HOLOGRAM COVERAGE!!!

Spent Halloween in NYC. Started the night off in the East Village Parade. Stopped off at a very low key halloween party. Rounded the night out in Williamsburg. And ended it in Brooklyn.
